Look, there is one thing that attracts millions of visitors to a city out in the middle of the desert every year, and it sure isn't the scenery. But what if I am staying at a hotel that doesn't have a golf course?

Well, there are a lot of package deals that include discount golf at offsite locations. Basically, the hotel gets a price break for driving business to the golf courses, and the hotels can offer discount golf as a perk for staying at their hotel. While packages vary from hotel to hotel and by the time of year, you generally get a better discount golf rate the longer you stay. Plus, by booking in advance, you can also enjoy some discount golf at even lower prices.

As with most clubs, weekday rates are lower than those charged on the weekends. So you have an idea as to the price, you can land a round of discount golf in Las Vegas for around $100. Sadly, however, poor planning will cost you, because you can stay at some hotels for that same amount PLUS get a round of golf in! So, if you want some discount golf when visiting Las Vegas, book early and get in on package deals. Otherwise, well...better bring the plastic.
